I designed my personal logo by transforming the UBC Engineering cairn into an unfolded sheet metal form and and using my initials as the letters. I modelled it in SolidWorks, unfolded it using the sheet metal tools, and converted the design to an SVG. I then used the SVG and AI to create an animation of the logo folding, spinning, and unfolding. Its a fun way to show how the origin of the design.
